It’s 2014 and in addition to being The Year of the Sour, it’s also the Year of Todd Ruggere’s CT Pour Tour!
OK so this is pretty awesome. Last year, Todd went to each town in Massachusetts and raised $43,000 for pediatric cancer research.
So can Connecticut top that? Because Todd’s going to every town in CT and having a beer in each one, raising money along the way. The kickoff is noon Saturday, Jan. 11, at Two Roads Brewing Co. in Stratford. For each pint sold, $1 will be donated to Todd’s cause!
Todd’s got a list going that’s posted on the CT Pour Tour Facebook page, sharing his schedule of when and where he’s showing up in each town.
On Jan. 7, Todd posted and said he still needs help with finding places in these towns: ColeBrook, Franklin, Hampton, Hartland, Lebanon, Ledyard, Lisbon, Montville, N. Canaan, Prospect, Roxbury, Scotland, Sherman, Stafford, Union, Warren and Weston.
“If I have a beer at someone’s house/yard that counts too,” he wrote. “I think I’m going to about 10 houses for cookouts already.”
